This research activity is
aimed to the growth of ZnO nanostructures by PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition).
We
study the influence of the deposition parameters as laser wavelength (l=248
and 193 nm), oxygen pressure, substrate temperature, etc on the morphological and optical
properties of the deposited films, in order to
realize sensor and opto-electronic devices based on ZnO nanostructures.
Some SEM-FEG images of different
films deposited in our laboratory are reported below.
